FAQ
How much do you charge for your services?
Our prices depend on many factors, such as the amount of time spent, and the complexity of the project. To get a better idea of the costs, fill out the Project Profiler form and email it to us, or give us a call. When we know the scope of the project, we’ll be able to give you a ballpark figure.
How do you normally charge clients?
We’re pretty flexible, but usually ask for a 50% deposit to start your project, with the remaining balance due prior to release of production-ready files. On larger (longer-term) projects with several stages of deliverables, we sometimes require the same 50% deposit prior to starting any work, but break up the fee schedule based on deliverables. All details will be outlined in project proposal.
What methods of payment do you accept?
A company check is the preferred method of payment. We also accept wire transfers and PayPal for overseas clients (subject to small handling fee),
Why should we hire Jibe?
There are many reasons. Here are seven good ones.
Will I have a say in the creative process?
Absolutely. Our goal is to please you. We can’t do that without your input. If there are graphic design styles that you would like to emulate, or if you come across a web site that you really admire, by all means let us know. If you have a company logo that you’d like us to work around, that’s no problem. Click here to learn more about how our creative development process works.
Does Jibe provide all services in-house?
Yes and no. Jibe can handle most advertising and design services in-house. Some services such as studio photography, advanced web programming, and media planning require specialists. We’ve found it’s usually better to subcontract these services as needed to get the best results at the right price. We have an extensive network of creative associates that we work with on a regular basis, and can assemble a team quickly to handle any service that you might need.
Why the name “Jibe”?
Jibe is a sailing term that means “to change course for a more efficient trim”. Jibe is also used in communication when two parties “agree”. Combining our love for sailing with our dedication to creating more efficient, cost-effective ways to communicate your brand idea, we think Jibe is the perfect name for us. We hope you’ll agree.
